Public Liability (Non Tariff)

Under Public Liability Insurance Act 1991 all companies/individual/persons owning dealing hazardous goods are required to take insurance policy satisfying the limits specified in the Act. Public Liability under PLI Act is different from other legal liability in respect "negligence" or "wrong-doing" on the part of the owner's fault or negligence is causing the accident is not required to be proved in case of PLI Act.
