Aims & Objectives

The State Insurance, provident fund, New Pension schemes are the most benevolent and prestigious schemes of Government of Rajasthan. These schemes are social security schemes which besides encouraging savings provide financial & economic strength to the employees. The main aim of the schemes is to provide financial support to the aggrieved family in the event of unfortunate death of the employee.

The General Insurance Schemes of the Department aims at providing security to the property of the insured institutions of State Government and statutory bodies. The coverage provided by general insurance basically compensate against any financial loss that may arise due to accidents related to automobiles, fire ,marine etc. subject to provisions of the relevant policies.

The Group Personnel Accident Insurance Scheme is another socio-economic security scheme for the State Government employees, which stands by the injured employee or the deceased employee's family in unfortunate event of accident, as the case may be.

Mediclaim scheme run by the Department makes available reimbursement facility against indoor treatment of grievous diseases to the employees recruited on or after 1-Jan-2004.

New Pension Scheme provides old age pension to the employees of State Government, who are recruited on or after 1-Jan-2004.
